Introducing Vetario, the new name in Veterinary Intensive Care
We are very pleased to tell you that Brinsea is now distributing the Vetario family of intensive care and related products, designed specifically for use in veterinary practices. The first products are the S10 and S20 intensive care units for small animals. These are based on the well-established TLC-4M and TLS-5M, which we previously sold, but are in a more restrained grey-based colour-scheme.

Intensive care
The S10
and S20 are designed for small animals that
are sick, injured or undergoing post-operative care. When used for neo-natal
care the S10 and S20 should help surgeries meet the requirements of the
RCVS Practice Standards: the S20 can accommodate a complete litter of
kittens with the queen.
Both models provide a safe, warm and hygienic chamber. Elements built
into the walls give all-round-heating and a proven electronic control
system and gentle fan ventilation ensures that the temperature is consistent
throughout the chamber. The air intake for the fan is double filtered
and the chamber is lightly over-pressure to maintain a clean environment.
A water reservoir provides additional humidity when needed.
Oxygen and nebuliser
A connection for an
oxygen supply allows an oxygen enriched atmosphere to be created, while
a nebuliser can deliver medication through an airborne mist, particularly
useful for relieving bronchial and other breathing problems.
The S10 has an internal floor 370mm (14 1/2")
round. The S20 has a floor 680mm x 430mm (26 3/4"
x 17") making it large enough for a queen and her litter or a small
to medium sized dog and has a sturdy removable wire door to contain larger
and stronger animals.
They are space efficient, easily cleaned, durable and quick to set up
with the minimum of training. Doors slide around the back of the cabinets
to save space, controls are logically laid out and labelled and the units
are light in weight, have carrying handles and are stackable - sockets
in the top of one cabinet locate the feet of the one above. The internal
floor is fitted with a semi-rigid plastic liner, which can be removed
for cleaning and easily replaced. The rest of the
interior is free of obstructions and easily wiped clean.
Temperature alarm
Supporting the S10 and S20 is the Vetario T20 Temperature Alarm module. This provides visible and audible alarms when the temperature goes out of range or if the mains fails. An optional phone dialler can call up to 5 numbers with recorded message.
